| Beschreibung der Weingüte | The history of the château Lynch-Bages goes back to the seventeenth century, where the family Lynch was the owner of an estate located on the « plateau of Bages ». This property was separated, during the nineteenth century, into two parts: the château Lynch-Bages and château Lynch-Moussas. The 90 hectares of château Lynch-Bages are now headed by the family Cazes, where Jean-Michel Cazes manages the property. The castle was ranked in 1855 as ‘fifth cru classé’. The area also produces a rare white wine, called « Blanc de Lynch Bages ». |
